Berlin

14 Jun

Out of all my travels, one that has stuck with me was Berlin. The rich history behind every turn, the old buildings some even showing the memories of WWII. Old churches such as the Eiermann Memorial Church (1,2), the last remnants of the great Berlin Wall, which not only divided a country but the Capital city and Check Point Charlie (3), the most well known check point between former East and West Berlin and Schloss Charlottenburg- a grand castle. Another great site on your tour of Berlin should be the Brandenburg Gate(5), another gateway between East and West. There are many sites to be seen in this grand old city, do not try to cram all of them into one visit otherwise you will not be able to truly appreciate each place for its own beauty and history.
